Match Point keeps your club or tournament identity, regional settings, and security controls in one place. This page shows you how to update your organization profile, adjust sport and regional defaults, reset your password, and permanently remove your account. Your organization name appears on public schedules, brackets, and invitation emails. Keeping the logo and name current helps players and visitors recognize your club instantly.

Change the organization name

  1. Open Account from the top navigation bar.
  2. Select Settings in the left sidebar.
  3. Click into the Organization Name field, update the text, and press Save.
The new name appears across all public pages and outgoing emails within a few seconds.
1

Open Account Settings

Click Account in the top bar, then choose Settings from the sidebar.
2

Upload a new logo

Click the current logo thumbnail under Organization Branding. Select a PNG or JPG file up to 2 MB. For best results, use a square image at least 256 x 256 pixels.
3

Crop and confirm

Drag the crop area to center your mark, then click Apply. Review the preview and press Save.
Only organization owners and admins can change the logo. Coaches and players will see the updated logo but cannot edit it.

Change sport defaults

Sport defaults control the scoring format, match duration, and court type used when you create new matches or tournaments.
  1. In Account > Settings, scroll to Sport Defaults.
  2. Choose your primary sport from the dropdown (tennis, pickleball, badminton, table tennis, or squash).
  3. Set the default Scoring Format (games, sets, or points), Match Duration in minutes, and Court Surface if applicable.
  4. Click Save Defaults.
New matches and tournaments will prefill these values. You can override them for any individual event.

Manage time zone and locale

Correct time zone and locale settings ensure that match times, dates, and number formats display accurately for your region.
  1. Go to Account > Settings.
  2. Under Region & Time, select your Time Zone from the searchable list.
  3. Choose your Date Format (MM/DD/YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY) and Time Format (12-hour or 24-hour).
  4. Pick your Language preference (English, Spanish, French, or German).
  5. Click Save Region Settings.
Changing the time zone shifts all existing match start times to the new zone. Notify players if you adjust this setting mid-season so they do not arrive at the wrong time.

Reset your password

If you suspect your credentials are compromised, or you simply want a fresh password, you can reset it from Account Settings without logging out.
  1. Open Account > Settings.
  2. Click Security in the left sidebar.
  3. Enter your Current Password.
  4. Type a New Password that is at least 12 characters long and includes a number and a symbol.
  5. Confirm the new password and click Update Password.
You will stay logged in on the current device, but other active sessions will be signed out and you will need to sign in again.

Delete your account

Account deletion removes your organization, all members, match history, tournament records, and billing data from Match Point. This action cannot be undone.
Deleting your account is permanent. All match history, scores, brackets, player rankings, and invoices will be removed and cannot be recovered.
  1. Go to Account > Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click Delete Account.
  3. Read the confirmation dialog carefully.
  4. Type your organization name exactly as shown, then click Permanently Delete Account.
If you are on a paid plan, cancel your subscription in Account > Billing before deleting the account to avoid further charges.
