# View and Share Match Results

> View completed match results, share public links, export PDF scorecards, and review head-to-head history between any two players in Match Point.

Once a match is completed, the result becomes a permanent record that players, coaches, and spectators can reference. Match Point makes it easy to view individual results, share them with people outside your club, export a printable scorecard, and dig into the history between two competitors.

## View a match result

Open the **Matches** tab and filter by **Completed** to see all finished matches. Click any match to open its detail page. The result page shows:

* Final score with full set or point breakdown
* Match format and participants
* Date, time, and court
* Match duration if live scoring was used
* Any notes added by the official or administrator

## Share a result link

Every completed match has a public link you can send to anyone, even if they do not have a Match Point account.

1. Open the completed match detail page.
2. Click **Share** in the top-right corner.
3. Copy the public link or send it directly via email or messaging.

The shared page shows the same score breakdown and participant list, but it does not allow editing. You can disable the link at any time from the match settings.

## Export a PDF scorecard

For records, press coverage, or tournament submissions, export a match result as a PDF scorecard.

1. Open the completed match.
2. Click **Export** and choose **PDF Scorecard**.
3. Match Point generates a formatted document with the match header, full score table, and signatures line.

The PDF downloads immediately and can be printed or archived.

## See head-to-head history

To compare how two players or teams have performed against each other over time, use the head-to-head feature.

1. Go to **Players & Teams** and open a player profile.
2. Click the **Head-to-Head** tab.
3. Select the opponent from the dropdown.

Match Point displays every completed match between the two sides, including dates, scores, venues, and the overall win-loss record. This is useful for seeding, rivalry stories, or selecting balanced pairings.

<Tip>
  Completed match results feed into player rankings automatically. As soon as a match is saved with a final score, Match Point recalculates the relevant ranking table. There is no separate step to publish or approve a result for ranking purposes.
